| | New Landmark Monument Design Contest due by Dec. 31 2007 | AABC is a non-profit community organization dedicated to promoting the new Houston Southwest Chinatown through several sub-committees such as Beautification, Marketing, Safety, and Membership. Due to recent developments throughout the area along Bellaire Boulevard, there is a need for creating a new Landmark Monument image to increase the public awareness of Southwest Chinatown to locals, and to create a new tourist destination. Thus AABC is holding a design competition to achieve the following objectives:
